The Juilliard School’s Dance Program

As the managing member of Vision Capital Advisors, LLC, an investment advisor, Adam Benowitz maintains responsibilities that include management of the firm’s day to day activities and portfolio management. Active in another field, Adam Benowitz has been involved in media production and one example he produced a documentary about dancers at the Juilliard School in New York City.

Established in 1905, Juilliard prepares dancers, actors, and musicians for careers in the arts. The dance division, currently helmed by ballet master and accomplished dance teacher Lawrence Rhodes, aims to graduate individuals skilled in both contemporary dance and classical ballet.

In addition to maintaining a top-level faculty, Juilliard invites guest teachers and choreographers to train students. Many graduates find performance positions with dance companies in the United States and in other countries around the world. Graduates also often become choreographers and directors.

Students may attain a four-year bachelor of fine arts, which includes required liberal arts coursework. Juilliard also offers a diploma program for those not earning liberal arts credits.
